I’ve always loved a good story.

My favorite books growing up included The Chronicles of Narnia (Peter was my first crush), Little Women (Jo totally should have ended up with Laurie!), and The Little House on the Prairie series (I grew up in rural Missouri so I can relate).

Growing up, I discovered the writings of Ernest Hemingway and Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina. Historical fiction (like Herman Wouk’s The Winds of War and War and Remembrance) is my favorite genre but I will pretty much read anything that is well written and plotted.

I became a story teller (i.e. journalist) when I grew up. But I recently switched to the communications side of the profession. However, I still love to read, write, and tell stories so that’s what I’ll be doing here. You’ll find some pop culture posts and maybe a few health and fashion tidbits. This is just my personal space on the internet to write what interests me. All opinions/content are my own.
